Setting up a product catalog for WhatsApp Business via KWIC enables seamless e-commerce functionality, allowing customers to browse and purchase products directly through WhatsApp.

Step 1: Initial Setup and Verification
KWIC Application Login
Log into your KWIC Application and navigate to the dashboard.
Access the e-commerce section under your profile → WhatsApp channel → Catalog option.
Meta Business Suite Configuration
Go to your Meta Business Suite. Select which WhatsApp Business account you are assigning the catalog to.
In WhatsApp Manager → choose your phone number → open the left menu → select Commerce Manager.

Creating Your First Product Catalog
If you’re adding products for the first time, you will be prompted to choose your Catalog Type:
- Online Products
- Local Products
- Other business-specific categories
Select your business portfolio → name your catalog → click Next.

Choose how you want to upload products:

In the last step:
- Enter catalog name

Step 3: Facebook and WhatsApp Synchronization
Connecting KWIC to Facebook
Go to your KWIC profile → e-commerce section → “Effortless Product”.
Copy the KWIC ID.
Facebook Data Source Configuration
In Facebook:
- Open Data Sources → Catalog
- Click Assign Partner
- Paste the WhatsApp/KWIC ID
- Enable Manage Catalog
- Click Accept
Completing the Integration
Copy the Catalog ID from Facebook → return to KWIC →
paste the ID into the e-commerce section → click Connect.
Now select your products → click Sync (top-right).
Product Set Synchronization
Your product sets will sync under catalog collections in KWIC. Go to:
- Profile → WhatsApp Channel
- Enable Catalog Cart and Catalog Visibility
Step 4: Automation and Customer Flow Setup
Creating Bot Flows
Go to KWIC Automation → Bot Flow. Create flows that include:
- Address Collection
- Order Confirmation
- Order Details
- Payment Method Attachment
Customer Reply Management
Navigate to Customer Reply → add your flow materials.
Then go to Automation → Automation Actions → enable Cart Item Received.
Choose the flow that should trigger when a customer interacts with catalog items.
